The Hero E.P.

The Hero E.P. is an online charity event that I am running to raise awareness of suicide in youth. While I was in High School a friend of mine named Jose took his own life and for a while I blamed myself for it. To this day I still do blame myself from time to time. This prompted me to write and record a song called “Hero” which is about preventing someone from committing suicide. After thinking about the song for a while I decided I wanted to take this a step further and really do something to make a difference in the lives of people who may be thinking about making that last decision.

I’ve now teamed up with The National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide, a program run by the American Association of Suicidology, in order to help raise awareness about this issue and combat it. You can learn more about them by checking out their webpage:

I’ve recruited a few producers who will be doing remixes of the song “Hero” and we will be releasing the remixes on a compilation through ITunes, Amazon, Google Play, and much more. The original song can be heard on the Facebook page for this cause:

All profits raised from selling the music as well as T-Shirts that are being designed will be donated to The National Center for the Prevention of Youth Suicide. We are tentatively looking at a release date of Tuesday September 10th, 2013. This date is also World Suicide Prevention day. This campaign cannot get off the ground without support. I ask any of you reading this to please like and share the above Facebook page. Thank you for your support.
